FINAL POST

So in the end the two scenes that I have created revolve around the idea of a research team arriving on Dagobah to investigate the planets ecosystems and the natural inhabitants. From the information provided to us about Dagobah nothing that arrives on the planet that is foreign lasts very long alive. The natural inhabitants have a food chain that places most sentient races somewhere in the middle, and this team that crash lands through the dense jungle is met by some ferocious predatory alien creatures.

The exterior scene depicts the teams' ship crashed into the edge of a swamp dragged down by vines. The team is in a state of disarray as these swamp lurking creatures rush to the ship to investigate the foreign presence on their planet. The security member of the team is engaged with one of the creatures, blasting away at it is it lunges for him. one of the research team is being pulled out of the ships window by another creature, and more are looking towards the fray and bounding towards it. On top of this there is a great swamp slug weaving it's way through the murky water towards the ship to devour all that it can form the wreckage. there are also flying creatures on the way through the tops of the trees.

The interior scene plays on what could have happened after the exterior scene, where one of the scientists has escaped from the disastrous landing area and fallen through a weak jungle floor into an underground cavern. The cavern is partly lit from luminous plants and crystals that grow in the dark underground, and there are various small cave systems and tunnels running away from the main chamber. The scientist is just coming to as he realises that he is not quite away from the danger yet seeing a great swamp beast emerging form a crystallized cavern, antagonised by the disturbance in his underground lair.
